Create|Engage is an opportunity for your team to come to Brushstrokes Studio to bond over making art together. Your team will shake loose their inner obstacles to unlock creative confidence through art. You will be energized with experiences that cultivate new ways of seeing and making. You’ll explore color, materials, and form while tapping techniques of observation and the power of intuition.
With teams working remotely, gathering in person with a hands-on, fun activity is a great way to connect and bond. Feel free to bring in a catered meal or ask us for recommendations for local wine/beer tasting rooms and restaurants within walking distance.
Groups gather at Brushstrokes in our upstairs studio or in our garden/parklet typically on a weekday. Your reservation includes three hours in our studio working on your group art project, eating/drinking, meeting and socializing. You are welcome to bring food and drinks. A team member will assist you in taking your garbage with you at the end of the event.

Theme Packages
- Theme 1: ACTION ART: Get active in this painting session. You will have access to supplies for making art without even using a paint brush. Stations will be set up for painting techniques including stamps, stencils, sponges, sgraffito, chalk pastel, etc. Folks will paint to the music and when the music stops they’ll move to the next canvas and add their own marks, then on to the next! At the end of the session everyone gets to take home a painting worked on by the whole team or the team can keep their canvases as a group to display at work. Psst... don’t tell, but there’s a special reveal at the end, artistically tailored to your company, that will bring your team together with a shared sense of creative accomplishment. ($699 for up to 8 people, $85 for each additional person)
- Theme 2: MOSAIC MADNESS: If you ever feel frustrated at work, this is a productive way to channel that energy. You’ll be smashing tiles and then creating a beautiful mosaic with the tesserae. No need to be a master of art to enjoy arranging these beautiful, colorful mosaic tiles into a stepping stone or wall hanging/trivet project to take home. We can send you home with individual grouting kits to grout it 24 hours later, or simply leave for us and we will grout for you! It will be ready in a week. Beyond the release of smashing tiles, this ancient art brings patience, discovery, and then come together to create something brand new and exciting. ($699 for up to 8 people, $85 for each additional person)
- Theme 3: POTTERY PAINTING: Just want to paint pottery? Let each person choose their own pottery piece and we'll provide all the tools and materials. ($598 for 8 people minimum plus $74 for each additional person, includes all paints, glazes and firing costs and up to $30 in pottery per person).
What’s included:
- 2–3 hours in our beautiful studio, a private space just for your group.
- All art materials and assistance from Brushstrokes staff.
- Groups are welcome to bring in food and drinks or we can recommend local restaurants to cater or visit after the project.
- We have air filtration and great natural ventilation. Our studio has an outdoor patio where your can enjoy your own food. We also have a parklet and garden with a heat lamp that can be set up for your comfort.
