Our light-filled upstairs art loft is also a gallery space where we regularly hold group art exhibits. Our openings are family-friendly because parents can view the art and mingle upstairs while children paint pottery in our downstairs studio. The garden serves as a fun gathering space with heat lamps, picnic tables and a bit of room to run around. Many of our openings include live musical performances by artists such as gypsy guitar with Louis Matthee and ukulele and vocals by the Alegre Sisters. We've hosted an evening of art and music that was a fundraiser for the Environmental Foundation for Africa and a holiday art and craft event as a fundraiser for Girls on Fire Leaders, a girl’s leadership camp in Kenya. We have personal connections to these far away places through our friends in Berkeley and we are pleased to support their good work with our art. We’ve hosted a three-way book signing on the occasion of three friends each coming out with a new book: Rae Dunn’s book about inspiration from her dog called Wilma's World, Stephanie Rausser’s collaboration with Jess Brown on a children’s book called Lulu and Pip and Frances Rivetti's book about the culinary history of Southern Sonoma County called Fog Valley Crush. We love to show art with our friends and invite others to support artists by purchasing their work. Come celebrate the arts in our community.
Artists we have exhibited include: Amanda Hughen, Emily Payne, Rae Dunn, Leni Mostaghim, Tamara Apple, Kristen Steele-Lewis and Gerald Lewis, Kim Bennett, Jessica Abbott Williams, Otto Williams, Jordan Bickett, and Nancy Selvin.
